Keycloak 1.6.1.Final Released

We've just released Keycloak 1.6.1.Final. After releasing 1.6.0.Final we discovered some issues with migration that has been resolved in this release. There's also a fix to a medium security issue that was introduced in 1.6.0.Final.

For the full list of issues resolved check out JIRA and to download the release go to the Keycloak homepage.

There's an issue with the website so it still shows 1.6.0.Final. You can download 1.6.1.Final here.

  3. Hi Stian. Are we supposed to use the 1.5.1 adapters for this release?

    1. You can, but I would recommend upgrading those to 1.6.1 as well

    2. But there are no adapters in the adapter folder for release 1.6.1.FINAL:

    3. There are, but they've been moved inside keycloak-oidc as we now also have SAML adapters. Look in http://keycloak.jboss.org/keycloak/downloads-archive.html?dir=0%3D1.6.1.Final/adapters/keycloak-oidc%3B

    4. Thx. I'm pretty sure both those directories was empty when I checked them the first time.

  4. FYI: It says: "You can download 1.6.0.Final here.", but the link points to 1.6.1.Final :-)

  5. I've two clients, frontend and backend. Frontend is public (html app), and backend is bearer only.

    1. How do I create an offline token for my backend?
    2. Why can't I use the admin api to create those tokens?

  6. Hi All,
I have generic question to the functions, which are/are not supported now in keycloack:
    - user notifications
    - 2nd factor authentication?
Are there already implemented or in future?
Is there any document about this futures?
    Thanks.
    Andrej.
